Persevere when you really want to quit

James 1: 2-4 "Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance.  Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Perhaps you are in a situation at work where you feel you are being exploited (taken for granted), or underpaid, or treated unfairly.  The Bible says: 'that we should consider it pure joy' when we face these trials.  You need to choose to endure these 'trials' - it will not be easy, but as you yield your will to persevere (and persevere means: to persist in or remain constant to a purpose, idea, or task in the face of obstacles or discouragement) the Bible goes on to say that 'you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.'  What a reward we are promised: to reach maturity and to feel fulfilled in everything.  Take the challenge and persevere - Our God is faithful and He does not lie.
