What does it mean to be in the darkness or to be walking in darkness?  If you are at home in the night and turn off the light  - you will experience darkness (no light), so darkness is in fact the absence of light. 

Often, fear will try to take hold of you and you will imagine you hear noises etc.  Isn't it amazing that as soon as the light is turned on, you feel you are able to handle whatever is thrown at you?  This is how it is with our Father: He is the light - in Him is no darkness (no evil, no sin, nothing bad) - only light (goodness, forgiveness, love etc).  Let us choose to walk in the light as He is the light.  We can accomplish that by studying His Word and being a doer of what the Word says.
