Booster for the Week

It's too difficult to be patient with that annoying person...

1 Corinthians 13 v 4-8:  Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.  It is not rude, it is not self–seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.  Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.  It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.  Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.

How often do we become impatient at work with colleagues or clients?

The Word for today speaks about love and what love is.  If we are walking in love, then we must be patient and kind.  Being patient is really difficult, but if we ask God to help us it is achievable.

The Word also says that love always perseveres.  So if love always perseveres, then we need to trust God to help us to be patient and to love even when we don't feel like being loving or patient.  When we allow God to take control of our lives by tuning our will into His will, God is willing and able to bless us with patience.  Remember that God is Love.
