Psalm 51 v 12: "Restore
to me the joy of your salvation and grant me
a willing spirit, to sustain me."
Have you ever woken up
in the morning feeling miserable, because
you know that you need to go to work? Are
you dreading the 8 hours you must sit behind
your desk? The Word for today speaks about
the "joy of your salvation".
Think back to the day you asked Jesus to be Lord of your life (if you haven't asked Him into your life yet, then you have never experienced this inner joy - contact us today and we will provide you with information on how to experience this inner joy). That day something happened inside of you: God removed all the hate and bitterness and filled you with great joy, the joy that only comes when you realize that Jesus Christ has paid for your sins and you are free.
God wants us to experience that joy daily and in every area of our life. He will even "grant me a willing spirit to sustain me" for those 8 hours behind my desk. Ask God today to "restore" to you the "joy of your salvation".
